what I’m eating ATM

So yesterday, I got brave and decided to try cooking one of John Berardi’s recipes, all by my big self icon smile what Im eating ATM  We bought some filets of fresh salmon at the store a few days ago, and I didn’t want them to go bad.  I didn’t start eating salmon until a few years ago, as well as shrimp.  The funny thing about it, is that I grew up in a costal town!  Go figure….

Anyhow, I managed to make something brilliant, and ate the entire thing myself.

Sesame, ginger, and cayenne pepper coated salmon breasts:

I also do that for chilli paste, as well as garlic) paste, and stir fried it with a tablespoon of olive oil (even though the recipe called for peanut oil…. I didn’t have any so I improvised).  Then, after the ginger got brown, it calls for searing the salmon filets on each side for about 2.5 minutes.  Well, I cooked mine for about 5 on each side because the thought of uncooked salmon hitting my tongue, doesn’t sit well with me.

It was to die for.  I’m quite pleased with myself.  If I can cook it, ANYONE can cook it-
