This little video makes me laugh every time I watch it. After my brother, and his two kids flew into Sydney, we went up to the Gold Coast for a couple of days, shortly before the end of the year. We decided to go to the beach for a look around, when we discovered a massive hill we had to walk down in order to get down to the beach. Well, I got the bright idea to roll down it for shits and giggles. It was sporadic, and it was one of the most memorable times I’ve had in the past several years. It was free. It was childish.
After rolling a few rolls, I could feel myself starting to get incredibly dizzy. So after I stopped, my 14 year old niece saw the perfect opportunity to come and plow me over while I sat there watching the birds and stars roll around in a orbital path around my head like a cartoon character. POW! I laughed even harder.
Thus, so far in the past almost two weeks they’ve been here, that has been the funnest thing we have done.
We’ve even climbed the Sydney Harbor Bridge… my Brother and I even went to and saw The Pet Shop Boys and Jamiroquai play NYE…. All of this costing money. But the fun that really hit home for me, was simply rolling down a massive hill, just as I would have done without any thought, when I was 7 or 8 years old.
It’s really true: The best things in life are free.

Wonderful landscape, and KO always preserves this good humor, spontaneity, happiness that characterizes her
Life is like a series of laughs waiting to happen for me it seems.
