I LOVE free stuff.  But sometimes, free stuff isn’t always the greatest thing.  On a flight to Thailand earlier last year, Jetstar was kind enough to give us a ‘diddy bag’ with some crap in it for our 8 hour flight. Part of “star class”…. anyway, as I was sitting on the curb waiting for my mate to get back, I happened to read the back of the lip balm container.  Sure as shit, it had “parabens” as one of the ingredients.  All I know is that parabens are really bad for you.  As much as I hate throwing away things, especially things that were given to me or those that were ‘free’, I tossed that shit like a hot potato into the garbage can.

Thanks jetstar!  You’d think an airline could fork out some non-toxic lip balm after spending $600+ per ticket on our flights. Dicks!!

Forgot to mention that I bought my first tube of ‘natural’ toothpaste today.  Once I learned how bad fluoride is for you, I stopped using toothpaste for a couple days, sticking to just brushing my teeth with water.  Couldn’t cut it, so found some mineral toothpaste today at a health food store, and I love it!  Also, I’m going to stop using deodorant unless it’s natural as well.  Aluminum can be found in deodorant, which has been linked to alzheimers in a major way.  Hell, even some teas have been linked with alzheimers because they were processed by using aluminum.  Wish I could say ‘ignorance is bliss’, and really mean what I say…. but that would be a flat out lie!
