OCD on the SUP’s?

You be the judge!  In my opinion, I think I crossed into ‘over-board’ land with the supplements this past week.

The list gets longer I’m afraid.  I’ve noticed the past week that my face seemed to be breaking out for some unknown reason.  After spending some time reading “The Clear Skin Diet” on my ipad, I’ve gone even deeper of the deep end, when it comes to taking supplements.  I’ll explain in an upcoming blog.  Yes, that means you have to come back.

In the meantime, I’ll give you a rundown of what I might be “pissing” away my money on.  Typing that, just made me laugh out loud.  Being that there are two schools of thought on supplements, one of them being that you only ‘piss out’ what you take in, and that they only way to truly ingest essential vitamins and minerals is through good diet (through the foods you eat).

Even my Dad is trying to cut-down on the amount of supp’s he takes.  At the moment, I’m taking some body building supplements called animal stacks, but only because someone gave them to me.  On top of that, I take
krill oil (fish oil… good for omega 3′s)
max gxl
creatine
velvet deer antler
vitamin B complex
cranberry extract
vitamin D, E
resveritol
evening primrose
calcium/magnesium
selenium
biotin
milk thistle
multi vitamin
cleopatra

sometimes I’ll take tribulis and/or horny goat weed (longjack)

Now how much of that I actually absorb into my blood stream, I couldn’t tell ya.  But what I can tell ya, is that if you’re a Thoroughbred like me, ya gotta fuel your body with top notch fuels.  You wouldn’t put regular unleaded fuel into your lambo, would you?

However, I have been told by multiple professionals, the top three supplements you only really need to be concerned about getting is fish oil, magnesium, and a probiotic.
